What's Your Why?

Why did I start a SAAS business? Why didn’t I just stay in my career lane? I was asked by one of my associates in the accounting space if I was satisfied with where I am with my career. Was I making and meeting my professional goals?

These are all really good questions. Reasonable Compensation Calculated was birthed as part of the answer to those questions.

Let’s think about hamburgers. Just track with me for a moment. Now, how many of you have craved a hamburger and there are so many choices? Low end to high end, fast food to gourmet, and everything in between. How would you feel if you really only had one choice?

That “hamburger” thought translated to the accounting space in my head. What if I could develop software to meet a need in a niche market where there was, in essence, just one good hamburger?

I hope that as we grow Reasonable Compensation Calculated together (because we are currently in Beta testing), we’ll produce an amazing hamburger with all the fixings so that small business owners and accounting professionals will come back again for seconds.

P.S. Is anyone craving an In-N-Out or is it just me?
